Terms of Use for Altered Integration

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the platform operated by Antanika Hoberg and Altered Integration ("we," "us," or "our"), including the website, services, and any other interactions facilitated through our platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you disagree, you must not use our platform.
1. Purpose of the Platform
Altered Integration provides a platform to connect clients with independent psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals ("Professionals"). We do not provide therapeutic services ourselves and are not responsible for the services provided by Professionals.
2. Independent Practitioners or featured Mental Health Professionals
2.1 Professionals listed on our platform are independent practitioners and not employees, agents, or representatives of Altered Integration or Antanika Hoberg.
2.2 Altered Integration does not supervise, endorse, or guarantee the quality, legality, or suitability of the services provided by Professionals.
2.3 Any agreements, treatment plans, or services are solely between you (the "Client") and the Professional.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Verification: Clients are responsible for verifying the qualifications, experience, and suitability of Professionals before engaging their services, Antanika Hoberg and Altered Integration are not responsible for therapists and client relationships beyond our own. .
3.2 Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our platform and anyone you engage with.
3.3 Prohibited Conduct: You must not:
Use the platform or services or provide services for unlawful purposes.
Impersonate another person or entity.
Post, share or provide false or misleading information.
Engage in behaviour that disrupts or harms the platform or other users.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Altered Integration and Antanika Hoberg disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or harm arising from interactions facilitated through our platform, including but not limited to claims of negligence, malpractice, or breach of duty by third-party Professionals.
4.2 Altered Integration provides the platform "as is" and does not make any representations or warranties regarding the platform's availability, reliability, or security.
5. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
5.1 Complaints Policy: Clients may report concerns about a Professional through the platform’s complaints mechanism. Altered Integration’s role is limited to referring or facilitating the concern to the appropriate party.
5.2 Altered Integration does not mediate or resolve disputes between Clients and Professionals. All such matters are the responsibility of the respective parties.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the platform, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
7. Professional Obligations
7.1 Professionals listed on the platform must:
Maintain valid licenses, registrations, and insurance under Australian law.
Comply with the ethical and professional standards required by their regulatory bodies.
7.2 Professionals acknowledge and agree that they are fully responsible for the quality and legality of their services.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Antanika Hoberg and Altered Integration or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without express written permission.
9. Termination
9.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these Terms or any other reason at our sole discretion.
9.2 Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed following the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Australia.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
